The Stiletto-class privateer is one of the most common armed fast-attack vessels in known space. It is used as a scout ship, electronic warfare vessel, marauder, light troop transport, privateer, pirate raider, and light frigate by everyone from Freespace militias to mercenary companies to Syndicates. Privateers love the mix of tough hide and powerful weapons, as well as the troop capacity for boarding operations. Even mercenary corporations who produce their own warships such as Spartan Group use the Stiletto for support and scout operations. One of only a handful of privateers mounting mil-spec heavy AP lancers, the Stiletto’s forward kill power is phenomenal. Four medium PPC turrets and Swarm missile bays loaded with a mixture of SRMs and LRMs round out the omnidirectional firepower.
The Stiletto’s thick hide is what makes it so popular. Sheathed in several meters of carbon-turine battleplate, she is one of the toughest privateers in her class.

Horizontal...its drawn in a banking kind of turn. We are looking at its top...same as the fighter leaving its forward hanger...

well its a smaller class hull, I'd have to check with Breandan on hard stats but figure 6 fighter craft and a few shuttles

so more for escort and scouting purposes than the Stiletto acting as a light carrier - sweet.

i presume that a few of these have been modified for light/fast haulage and blockade running duties...

yeah a the main purpose of these ships are for privateer use or freetraders who deal in rather rough neighborhoods... they are free to defend them selves in the deep black... others hunt in the deep black.. the stiletto is more a purpose build raider...
