Inter-System Police is the 24th century descendant of InterPol, with greater policing powers. Each signatory to the Terran Alliance of Nations charter- with the exception of the Free Systems Alliance, Tarsus Corridor Alliance, Ahrugan Tribal Confederation and Andali Confederation- allow for ISP to operate in their territory in conjunction with local law enforcement and militias. While ISP can field a handful of destroyers, their primary enforcement tool is the huge fleet of tens of thousands of these corvette-class patrol cruisers. These patrol cruisers are jump-capable vessels with two-man crews, making them perfect light patrol ships for vast areas as they can be fielded en-mass. Armed with a variety of weapons, including PPC turrets, particle beam pulse cannons, two naval medium PPCs, and both omnidirectional and focussed disruptor banks for disabling vessels, the cruisers are dangerous foes for their size. The hull contains stasis-tube holding cells for up to twenty prisoners, reactors for the excessive weapons, and spartan accomodations for the crew, who usually berth in a station or dirtside port facility. While only moderately armored compared to privateer or mercenary ships, the patrol cruiser sports mil-spec shield generators, giving it an edge over most pirate marauders.

I like that the idea that this little ship has to have everything it could conceivably want for out on a long patrol jammed into a very small hull, and I like that the picture reflects that.
Its a Vette, so the guns aren't That big, its just the fact that they are in a chin turret makes them look huge, and they do have to sometimes chase down bigger ships. Having bigger guns always helps Thanks!
